Spider Tales

This particular wolf spider reminded me that I was the guest in their territory when I lay down to sleep on the floor of one of the buildings at the event site.  There’s no shortage of biting and stinging things in the Australian bush, but you’ll only see most of them outside of event times.

Redbacks under the toilet seat ARE a real thing.  Especially during the early days on site, and some of the more ‘vintage’ facilities, it’s worth taking a look before you take your ease.
