Share house horror stories

‘He Died With a Felafel in His Hand‘ by John Birmingham. They SAY it’s an exagerated story of excessive drug and alcohol abuse in a series of houses John shared with people in his youth, but reflecting back on my experience in shared houses, it rings pretty true. If you haven’t seen the movie I’d recommend it, it’s one of those rare ones that does justice to the book. We don’t have the movie, but we do have the book at the library at Blazing Swan in 2027.

A recent newspaper article even goes so far as to lament that young adults deciding (or having no other option but) to stay living at home in their parents’ houses are missing out on an ‘essential life experience’.
