Plan for the best, prepare for the worst. Fires in campsites are particularly dangerous – a combination of flammable structures and significant numbers of people who are unfamiliar with the layout of the camp sites they are visiting. So, for the guidance of visitors and camp members we’ll have a Fire Evacuation diagram prominently displayed. Exit signs will be visible inside structures, and on external pathways directing people to the immediate Camp Bibliophilia Muster Point. The event provides major Event Muster Points at the four compass points of the event site. When those locations are confirmed they will also be referenced on this diagram.
Camp Members are trained in the use of fire extinguishers, and the event organisers have a large team of professional fire fighters on site.
